Starting in Labin, Bella Vista heads towards Skitača through the rugged landscapes of eastern Istria. The route follows gravel roads through the hills before reaching the Skitača peninsula, where the terrain becomes more open and rocky.

The higher you climb, the wider the views become, with Kvarner Bay, the surrounding islands and the Adriatic stretching out below. Along the way, you can stop at the mountain hut in Skitača or discover the local legend of the Tears of St Lucia before continuing across the peninsula.

The route then follows a mix of gravel and paved roads back towards Labin, with plenty of changes in terrain along the way. With 30 kilometres of riding and 623 metres of elevation gain, Bella Vista is a rewarding MTB route for riders who want to explore the wilder side of eastern Istria and enjoy some of its best coastal views.
