Rab MTB 1 is a 43 km loop that takes you through some of the island’s most varied landscapes, combining 70% paved roads with 30% off-road riding. Starting in Rab, the route gradually leaves the coast behind and heads into the island’s quieter interior, with 632 metres of elevation gain adding plenty of challenge without making it an extreme ride.

Along the way, the scenery constantly changes between Mediterranean vegetation, rocky terrain, small roads and open viewpoints. The combination of paved and off-road sections keeps the ride varied, while the climbs reward you with wider views across Rab and the surrounding Adriatic.

With around three hours of riding and a moderate difficulty level, Rab MTB 1 is a great choice for riders who want to explore more of the island without committing to a full-day MTB adventure. It’s a balanced route that brings together the different sides of Rab in one ride.
