Starting in Červar, this easy 10.6 km route follows the Istrian coast through the peaceful Mediterranean landscape around Porto Bussola. With mostly gravel surfaces and just 80 metres of elevation gain, it’s an easy ride that leaves plenty of time to enjoy the surroundings.

The route passes through Ulika, one of Croatia’s largest olive groves, before reaching the wild beaches around the Porto Bussola peninsula. In summer, pack your swimsuit and make time for a swim in the clear Adriatic before continuing along the coast. The ride also passes near Papago Park, Croatia’s first exotic bird park, offering another interesting stop along the way.

With its short distance, easy terrain and mix of coast, gravel and Mediterranean nature, Porto Bussola is a great choice for families, casual cyclists and anyone looking for a relaxed ride close to Poreč.
